A Staypoollizer is not a substitute for routine pool inspection, plumbing maintenance, property monitoring, leak detection, or homeowner’s insurance.

9. Pressurized Water and Leak Risk

Any device connected to a pressurized water supply presents a potential risk of leaking, hose failure, fitting failure, valve failure, pipe failure, or water damage.

Before leaving the water supply operating unattended, the customer should observe the complete installation through multiple cycles and confirm that:

  • All connections remain dry

  • The hose and fittings remain secure

  • The product shuts off correctly

  • No pipe movement occurs

  • No unusual vibration or noise occurs

  • No water hammer is present

Customers should consider whether their property requires additional safeguards, including a readily accessible shutoff valve, pressure regulator, backflow-prevention device, water-hammer arrestor, leak detector, or automatic whole-property shutoff system.

10. Water Hammer and Plumbing Conditions

The automatic starting and stopping of water flow may produce water hammer, pressure surges, banging, vibration, or pipe movement in some plumbing systems.

These conditions may be affected by:

  • Water pressure

  • Pipe length and arrangement

  • Pipe support

  • Valve characteristics

  • Hose construction

  • Missing or inadequate plumbing-protection devices

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JCS Industries LLC is not responsible for internal plumbing leaks, pipe failures, flooding, water intrusion, mold, structural damage, damage to a home or dwelling, or damage to personal property to the extent caused by defective, deteriorated, unsupported, unprotected, improperly regulated, or unsuitable property plumbing.

Nothing in this Legal Notice excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility arising from a proven defect in a Staypoollizer product.
