Water Hose Connection to the Staypoollizer
To ensure a leak-free connection with your Staypoollizer, it’s critical for the male water hose fitting’s face or leading edge to make direct contact with the water hose gasket inside the Staypoollizer fitting. Here’s why this matters:
1. **Essential Contact Point**:
The seal relies on the male fitting's face meeting the gasket firmly. This contact prevents water from escaping at the connection.
2. **Impact of Thread Damage**:
Any imperfections in the male hose threads, such as nicks or flattened areas, can prevent the fitting from fully reaching the gasket. When threads are damaged, they may seem tight, but they stop short of full contact, resulting in leaks.
3. **False Tightening**:
Damaged threads can create a misleading sense of tightness. Although the fitting may feel secure, the incomplete connection with the gasket
leaves gaps for water to leak through.To avoid leaks, inspect hose threads regularly and replace damaged hoses or hose ends as needed. Properly maintained threads allow the male fitting to reach the gasket fully, ensuring a tight, dependable seal with your Staypoollizer.
